Ignis' hold tightened on Prompto as if he was afraid that the man in his hands will fall completely fall apart. He doesn't even know how is he still thinking clearly after all of this. The complete heaviness of the situation and loss will hit him later, as all things always do.

"He- he wasn't alone. He knew we were there for him and with him, always, he knows." Ignis couldn't let him, them, witness that. They've been through enough already to see their King being speared with the sword of his father, by his hand, on the throne.

Ignis doesn't care how much time he spent holding Prompto like this. He just wishes Gladio wasn't all by himself in the Throne Room.
